As a mechanic of 15 years i couldn't advise people enough to avoid this garage. Selling dangerous cars with dodgy MOTs which do not put break pads and break discs as a fail but not even an advisory when they require urgent attention. The fact this company havent got someone killed yet, shocks me! If you are considering buying from them be prepared to be scammed with a dangerous car and then uncooperative in solving the problem. A
AVOID!!!! Avoid!!! Avoid!!!!Red Engine management light came on when driving home!!! The TURBO had been tampered with!!! They knew it was going to go!!! Completely unreasonable in solving the issue, sold it under false pretences! Had to get the AA involved who was then told it wasnt covered in their AA promise; yet they didnt tell me that. Been in dispute with them for weeks! They want me to drive the car back (4 hour journey) saying its safe! When been advised by every mechanic it is not! They knowingly let me drive the car home with a baby, knowing that it was a disaster waiting to happen! Not even to mention the long list of stuff that needs doing including 3 tyres, window doesnt open and close properly, break pads, tracking, break discs!!! And the battery went after a week of ownership! Now they are being uncooperative!! Having to progress it to trading standards!! Hopefully will stop anyone else from making the mistake of purchasing a car from them. How they are still AA approved I will never know!
Buying a car from progress was the worst mistake of my life! They will sell you a car with good body work but the rest will crumble as you drive away. The car needed: New tires (the tread was massivly worn down)New Shock absorbersNew exhaust (which they did fit but I had to get the bracket secured at another mechanic because they left it loose)The break disks were corroded And (I have just found out) the front breaks need doing..... I have owned this car for less than three months.Save yourself the bother and buy a car from anywhere else, these guys are total sharks.
They deal with customers really well. Nakeeb is the most helpful and always gets issues sorted efficiently. They have a good range of cars. I enjoyed my experience.
